Holbrook Park

Amenities

Holbrook Park features a ballfield and bleachers; hockey/pleasure skating rinks and a warming house open seasonally during the winter months; a seasonal dog park in the hockey rink area during spring, summer, and fall; a half-basketball court, playground equipment, picnic tables and grills.  The small picnic shelter or ballfield may be reserved by downloading the Park Facility Use Permit application form.  Please call the City Clerk at 952.473.6961 x1 in advance to check date availability.

If you're with a sporting organization interested in the rental of the ballfield for your organization’s seasonal use, please contact the City Clerk at 952-473-6961 x1. It's possible to reserve the use of the ballfield lights for an additional fee.

Skating facilities (not including the warming house) may also be reserved if the proposed date and time of use don't conflict with regular public open skate hours of the hockey and pleasure skating rinks - reservations would need to be for a morning on a weekend, and the reservation end time would need to be before 12:00 noon.  Reservations could also be made during weekdays, with a reservation time ending before 3:00 pm.

Note that the Holbrook Park Warming House is only open to the public during seasonal hours posted on the building, subject to the availability of Warming House staff.  The Warming House is not available for general rental.

Seasonal Off-Leash Dog Park

The hockey rink area of Holbrook Park doubles as an off-leash dog area during the warmer months of the year.  All dogs that use the park’s off-leash dog area must be current on licensing with their city of residence and on vaccinations.  Rules for use are posted near the entrance to the off-leash area.
