Midco.com/Hello details the Midco fiber installation process that west metropolitan area residents will see this summer:

  • Step 1: Marking. Safety first! Before digging begins, the location of underground utilities will be flagged and marked.
  • Step 2: Prepping. The contractor's construction teams will set fiber-optic access points at public easements to minimize disruptions to properties.
  • Step 3: Laying. Precise placement. Guided by markings, the contractor will carefully expose underground utilities and install conduits for the fiber cables.
  • Step 4: Restoring. Tidying your space. After construction, the contractor will be responsible to remove all markers and restore your lawn.
  • Step 5: Installing. If interested in becoming a Midco customer, you can set up an appointment at your convenience.

Midco teams will be working with property owners to answer questions and ensure yards are restored to their original condition. You can text 64326, email homesales [at] midco.com (homesales[at]midco[dot]com) or start a live chat with a Midco team member at Midco.com/Hello with any questions you have.
